of DIVIZION Film Studio.
Divizion is a new company on the Polish market. The official opening took place on 5th of January and the first shot was taken as soon as on 8th of January 2009.
To face new technologies in the film recording, DIVIZION invested in the perfectly developed RED ONE cameras, equipped with all ARRI accessories and new COOKE S4i lenses. You can read more about
RED, its advantages and, let’s call it, "current limitations" in the production section.
All our activities were focused on constructing such a production and service system for a shooting location that could guarantee the pictures of the highest possible quality.
The picture recording is made in 4K – the highest possible resolution, through the best COOKE S4i optics, and then the material is subject to post production,
color correction, mastering on ASSIMILATE SCRATCH DI system which is based on SAN. Only then, we are able to guarantee that, from the technical point of view, the material prepared in divizion will be of the top quality. The cooperation with the best laboratories in Europe guarantees, in turn, the premium quality of the material copy on the 35 mm tape.
It is also important that the whole Divizion equipment is absolutely new. The lenses are adjusted to a given camera, DI system is adapted to work with native r3d files.
This is something that we are distinguished by - the high end equipment, which is necessary to obtain the full control over the recorded picture. There are no failures or defects as the equipment is brand new for the moment. We do not look for cheap solutions, but we choose the verified technologies which guarantee technical excellence. I would also like to stress the fact that DIVIZON does not share the popular RED revolution principle that equipment is just equipment and it can be replaced with a new one at any time.
DIVIZION is a film studio which follows the example of independent American film factories. We are both - the manufacturer and the co-producer. We offer services in film production, post production and equipment rental. . We are able to prepare a material for TV SD and HD for the cinema in the digital system and for the transfer on 35 mm tape as well as HD SR. This all makes DIVIZION an advanced DIGITAL CINEMA studio.
